Food is always delicious and service is excellent. Mike T was attentive and kept the drinks filled without being asked which is always a nice surprise. Taco salad with chicken was great and will get it again. My husband always enjoys the enchiladas and we always finish with the churros. Thanks, be back next summer when we are back in the area.

I hate to write this review because I was so looking forward to trying yet another Mexican restaurant. They are my absolute favorite. BUT…to say I was disappointed all around would be an understatement. Before I get into that, I will say this: the service was great. My bartender was super attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the subpar food. I wasn’t really impressed with the margaritas but that I can get over. The food though? Ugh. I got a side of queso which came out still thick and chunky because it was not warmed up enough. I also wasn’t expecting it to look like it came right from a Tostito’s jar. I ordered the enchiladas muchachas. The entire plate was overheated because everything started to get melted and caked to the plate itself. The enchiladas were kind of gross flavor wise. Almost tasted rotten. They didn’t smell enticing either. The rice was nothing to write home about and the refried beans looked disgusting. They were off in color and I just could not place the taste. Also the chips that come with the salsa are most definitely a crappy brand as all I could taste was seed oils in each bite. I just cannot stress how disappointed I am

I recently ordered takeout from Margaritas Mexican Restaurant and picked it up myself. Since this visit was just a few days after Cinco de Mayo, it’s possible the restaurant was still experiencing higher-than-normal traffic. My father ordered the quesadillas, and I had a chimichanga. The food was good and flavorful, though I wouldn’t describe it as exceptional. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and worth ordering again. The pickup experience, however, was frustrating. When I arrived, the host told me my order was ready and that he would grab it in just a minute. He was handling a phone order at the time and appeared to be becoming frustrated with the caller. During the next several minutes, he put the caller on hold, seated multiple parties that arrived after me, and then returned to the phone conversation. When I politely asked if he could retrieve my order or if I could pick it up from the bar area, he told me no and said he would get it shortly. After waiting approximately 12 minutes for food that had already been prepared, I finally flagged down a manager, who immediately went to the back and brought out my order. We had a blast!! Always talked about stopping by when we were at the shore. We shouldn’t have waited. We sat at the bar and all three of the servers were great. Meals were fantastic and food came out just made to order and hot. Drinks were perfect and the night was just right. Thanks to Caitlin and everyone else.
